The purpose for which the association is formed are as follows:

To promote all social, cultural, educational and welfare activities of Ikorodu Town Citizens in the UK & Ireland and in Nigeria - so far as they promise to develop the Ikorodu Town of Lagos State.

To promote and sustain the unity and co-operation of Ikorodu Citizens who are residents in the UK & Ireland in particular and elsewhere in general.

To assert and protect members' rights in all aspects of life, within the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, in so far as compatible with UK & Ireland and European laws.

To raise funds by means of annual subscriptions from members, voluntary donations and any other fund raising activities, i.e. Xmas Jamboree that comply with the UK & Ireland laws and regulations; for the accomplishment of our above objectives.
